Designing a mobile car rental booking flow — a UX/UI case study

A UX/UI design project completed as part of a university design course, tasked with designing a car rental booking app from research through to a fully interactive high-fidelity prototype. Research and usability testing were used throughout to identify why users hesitated during booking, and to redesign the flow around clarity and pricing transparency. The final prototype scored 9.5/10 on assessment.

Designing 5 user roles into one nationwide arts events platform

Open Studios Australia is a nationwide digital platform designed to connect visitors with artists, studios and creative events across the country. The project reimagines the traditional Open Studios experience with a centralised, mobile-first application where people can discover local creative communities, explore studios, attend activities and workshops, and browse curated catalogues. My role covered concept development, user experience design, Object-Oriented UX (OOUX) structuring and interface prototyping, as well as developing the web app using AI-assisted development, with support from JABA's tech team. The platform was built with a strong focus on user experience and accessibility, so visitors, artists, studio owners and licensees all have tools tailored to their needs.

The project involved designing and building a Progressive Web App that brings their story to life, combining an integrated online wine shop, accommodation booking, and rich storytelling into a single, beautifully crafted digital experience built on the JABA CMS.

Designing a self-guided aquaponics exhibition

A self-guided exhibition system designed to make the layered, often technical process of aquaponics understandable to a general audience, built as a bachelor thesis research project at AVANS University. Rather than starting from a fixed brief, the concept was shaped by user research, then brought to life as a fully working 8-step visitor experience using Arduino-based sensors. The system was later sold to Stichting Duurzame Kost and City Farming in Eindhoven for ongoing use.

Building a direct-to-consumer e-commerce site for a family cattle farm

A full website rebuild for Pitchford Farms, a South Australian family-owned cattle operation selling premium grass-fed beef direct to consumers. The project involved redesigning and rebuilding their site on a custom CMS, writing all website copy, and setting up PayPal e-commerce for quarter and half side beef pack orders.
