Annosky · UX, Branding & Motion Design Internship
Platform
Multi-product web & app UI (Annobase, Annotax, Yolabo) plus brand & motion design (Helios Mylos)
Scope
UI design across four live products, usability testing with 500+ students at colleges across the Netherlands, logo/brand identity and motion explainer video for Helios Mylos, event and print marketing materials

Annosky was my first professional design environment, and it covered a lot of ground. The company was building several products simultaneously, which meant my work shifted between UI design, graphic production, testing, and outreach depending on what was needed.
For Annobase, a privacy-first social cloud platform, I contributed to the web UI design across multiple feature pages including Social, Cloud and Prints, and the privacy and no-ads value propositions. The visual identity leaned on a clean dark-blue aesthetic with a city bokeh backdrop, which I worked within to keep all screens consistent.
Annotax was a personal tax advisor app targeting students. I was involved in testing the prototype, identifying usability issues, and working on marketing materials including event flyers for the college tour, where we presented the app directly to students at venues like Scalda. I also created event presence materials such as the Weitjerock festival flyer, applying the Annotax brand to a festival sponsorship context.
Yolabo was a music collaboration app where I contributed to the UI design, working on the profile and project screens within the app's bold red visual identity.
For Helios Mylos, a solar energy Kickstarter project, I designed the logo, brand identity, and produced a motion design animation to support the campaign. This ranged from the wordmark and brand guidelines through to a full illustrated explainer video showing how the product worked and why it mattered.
A significant part of the internship also involved setting up and running usability testing sessions at colleges, speaking to students about the apps, and gathering real feedback that fed back into the design process.
