Project Detail

While travelling through Mandalay, a visit to Goffee Coffee to write a blog post quickly became something more. The owner shared the story behind his shop, his deep knowledge of coffee, its origins, and what drew him to the craft. The conversation was rich enough that by the end of the day, a design brief had taken shape organically.

The infographic was designed to communicate the journey of coffee in a way that was visually engaging and easy to follow for café visitors. Coffee has a layered history spanning continents and centuries, and the challenge was distilling that into something that felt informative without being overwhelming. The design needed to work in a café environment, where people are browsing rather than reading in depth, so hierarchy and visual flow were the priority.

The poster was designed to complement the infographic and sit within the café's visual identity, giving Goffee Coffee a piece of printed material that reflected the quality and character of the experience they were offering their customers.

Both pieces were created while still in Myanmar, working directly with the owner to get the details right.
